A head-on collision in Horry County killed a 60 year old woman Saturday night and injured six other people.
According to the Horry County Coroner's Office, Glendora George of Nichols was killed when her SUV collided with a pickup truck on Highway 917, near Finklea's Career Center in Loris, just after 9:30 pm.
SC Highway Patrol says the driver of the pickup crossed the center line and hit George's on-coming SUV head-on. Five other passengers in the SUV were injured and taken to the hospital, their condition has not been released.
Authorities say the driver of the pickup was air-lifted to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, her condition also has not been released.
Highway patrols is still investigating.
