Beginning Monday, the Florence Police Department will be able to cover more ground. Florence police will hold the grand opening for their new police substation Monday.
The new downtown substation will be located at 112 North Dargan Street in Florence. The community is encouraged to check out the new facility Monday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00.
