Parents charged with infant's death

Deputies say the coroner is investigating the death of a six-week-old girl in Darlington County as a homicide.

The girl's parents, 17-year-old Heather Pingitord and 19-year-old David Rush have been charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.

According to authorities the infant was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning with no signs of life, they say she died from a non-accidental injury.
