An Horry County heroin dealer was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his crimes.

A judge sentenced Ervin Gamble, Jr. Thursday morning after a jury found him guilty of trafficking heroin.

The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Gamble last July.

They say they hope his sentence will send a message to others in Horry County about selling drugs.
