The former mayor of the City of Mullins passed away Wednesday morning.
City officials tell us Ken McDonald died after an illness.
He was on Mullins City Council for 18 years and served as mayor from 2004 to 2008.
McDonald's funeral will take place this Friday at 4pm at the First Baptist Church in Mullins.
