The Employment Security Commission says a number of unemployment checks were duplicated in error over the weekend.
Approximately 1,250 checks, dated Sunday, July 19, were printed twice and mailed out.
Anyone who receives two checks should cash only one of them.
The other check should be returned to their local State Employment Security Commission Workforce Center.
If both checks are cashed, the claimant will be liable for the excess payment.
All claimants who received duplicate checks will be contacted either by phone or mail.
