Police have seized nearly $200,000 worth of bootleg goods that were being sold at the Florence Flea Market.

Officers raided the flea market this past weekend.

They confiscated fake designer bags, jeans, and shoes.

Deputies charged eight people with trafficking counterfeit merchandise.

"It was pretty obvious to us that everyone of the individuals who was arrested knew very well that they were selling counterfeit goods," said Captain Mike Nunn, with the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

Police worked with the South Carolina Secretary of State's office in this investigation.

They will continue to monitor what's being sold at the flea market.
