As the debate about healthcare reform takes center stage, a Conway woman had a special seat at the table this week in Washington.
Three-time cancer survivor Angela Kegler McDowell was one of fifty with the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network to make a plea for affordable healthcare.
"They're also saying we should take some action now. we may not have all of the answers but we've gotta do something to protect the American people. So I believe that there is a consistent and uniform agreement that this is a big, major problem that has to be fixed."
McDowell said she met with senators Lindsey Graham, Jim DeMint, Congressman Henry Brown, as well as others.
