A 19-year-old Myrtle Beach man is scheduled to be in court Monday to face a murder charge in the death of a homeless man.

In March of 2006, 51-year-old Steven Walsh was beaten in the woods off of Highway 501 in Horry County just outside Myrtle Beach.

He died 9 days later at a local hospital.

Bilal Harris, who was 16 at the time, was arrested and charged as an adult in Walsh's death.

Harris is 19 now and has been at J. Reuben Long Detention Center for nearly three years.

A second teenager pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in 2006 and was sentenced to an undetermined amount of time with the Department of Juvenile Justice.
