An accident claimed one teenager's life in Darlington County early Saturday morning.
The crash happened on Highway 15 about two miles south of Hartsville at about 12:30am.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says a car was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Highway 15 and Bypass when a Chevy Blazer slammed into the car -- rear-ending it.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says 19-year-old Antonio McFadden, a passenger in the car, was killed. Two other passengers were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Blazer was treated for minor injuries, and according to Hardee, charges are pending in this case.
