Chick-Fil-A's customer appreciation week continued in Conway this weekend at a country festival with local celebrities lending a helping hand.

There were all sorts of activities and events -- including a race where the winner was given $1,000 worth of Chick-Fil-A certificates to donate to a charity of choice.

Angela Nicholas with the Red Cross won and donated to the Red Cross.

"Anytime we get a donation like that we can use it in a number of ways, certainly we have a lot of volunteers who go out and spend a lot of their own time and money volunteering for the Red Cross, so I can use these coupons to feed them," said Nicholas.

NewsChannel 15's Ed Piotrowski and Tim McGinnis participated in the race.

Ed came in second place and won $500 in certificates for the Grand Strand Miracle League.
