Police are on the scene at a home on Pineneedles Court.
Officials say the suspected shooter took off from the scene. Police are searching for that person right now.
Police say the suspect is driving a 2009 white Honda Accord with a South Carolina Tag Number CRB - 484.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says the man who died was 32-year-old Tyrone Howard Jones, of Horry County. Edge says he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
