Saturday in Myrtle Beach, the gay and lesbian community celebrated the second annual Pride Festival at the historic Myrtle Beach Train Depot.
As vendors set up, there were live performances and a chance for folks to spread the word about equality. One event organizer commented on how there's been more support from the community this year.
Chris Stephens, of the Center Project, said, "We've been working on this for about six months and so what that support means for us is that our message is getting out. That everybody should be equal and we've got money to spend and people know that."
The pride weekend wraps up tomorrow night with a party at Club Kryptonite in Myrtle Beach.
