Two people are recovering including an Horry County police officer after a fatal accident in Conway Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 544 and Singleton Ridge Road in Conway around 2pm Thursday.
The coroner's office says Timmy Fulmore, a passenger in the car, was killed in the accident.
Fulmore was a correctional officer at a state prison facility in Tabor City, North Carolina.
Highway Patrol says the car that Fulmore was in was headed east on Highway 544 when the driver began making a left turn onto Singleton Ridge Road.
That's when troopers say the police officer headed west on Highway 544 slammed into the passenger side of the car. Highway patrol is still investigating who was at fault in the accident.
The driver and the officer are in serious but stable condition at Conway Hospital.
