The town of Atlantic Beach will have an emergency meeting Monday to discuss a budget it passed two weeks ago, though the circumstances are not exactly clear on why the town will meet town residents tell us it may have something to do with the town not following proper procedure during the budget process.
Atlantic Beach recently hired a new town manager who got the budget in order. The budget that was passed included measures to pay down debt and it puts the town on path to break even for next budget year.
