Michael Jackson fans on the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee are doing like others around the world and paying tribute to the King of Pop.
On Saturday at Freestyle Music Park in Horry County, visitors signed a tribute canvas -- writing their thoughts and memories of Jackson -- and left cards and flowers as part of a memorial set up by the park.
Andy Covan said, "It's just sad that someone like Michael Jackson, who had so much influence on the music community, died so young."
Any visitor who shows up to the park dressed like Michael Jackson -- wearing a single white glove, a red zipper jacket, and/or a pair of white socks with dress shoes -- will be admitted into the park for only $5.00.
The memorial and the reduced admission to Freestyle will be going on through Sunday.
