Horry County Police Investigates Armed Robbery

Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to the Quick Cash Advance at 3373 Hwy. 9 in the Longs section of Horry County in reference to an Armed Robbery.

When they got there they learned that two black males entered the store, one of which was brandishing a handgun.

The suspects demanded money from the clerk behind the counter. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the store and fled out of the back door of the business.

Detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Violent Crimes section responded to the scene, and an investigation was initiated. The description of the suspects provided to law enforcement is one black male, heavy set and wearing a red hoody sweatshirt, and one black male, skinny and wearing a gray hoody sweatshirt.
