Election officials in Marlboro County have tentatively set a date to hold a new mayoral election in the town of McColl.
Two weeks ago, Ray Grier challenged incumbent mayor Gary Quick.
After two recounts, Quick won by just one vote.
Grier appealed and the McColl Municipal Election Commission ordered a new election.
A possible date for the new election is August 11th.
That date still has to be approved by Governor Mark Sanford and the US Department of Justice.
