The Horry County Coroners Office says a woman who was killed while swimming in the ocean Saturday appears to have drowned.
Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard tells NewsChannel 15 that they're still waiting on complete autopsy results, but 40 year old Annette Brunson of Sumter was swimming in the ocean near the beach access at 68th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach when she appears to have drowned.
Brunson was pronounced dead at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center just before 2:30 Saturday.
