Due to a one-way Ocean Boulevard traffic pattern and the Memorial Day holiday, Coast RTA will be adjusting specific routes May 22 - 25, 2009.
All other Coast RTA routes will operate at full service and transfers will not be affected.
Coast RTA cautions riders to expect delays on all system fixed routes due to anticipated traffic delays and congestion.
On Tuesday May 26, 2009 Coast RTA routes will return to their regular schedule.
Route 15N
Beginning at 2:00 PM Friday May 22nd and continuing through Sunday, May 24th North bound service will not be provided South of 29th Avenue North. Upon departure from the Myrtle Beach Transfer Center at 2:00 PM Coast RTA 15N will travel North on Kings Highway to 30th Avenue North, return to Ocean Boulevard and continue North on the Boulevard. Scheduled South bound stops will not be affected. The last Transfer Center departure will be at 9:00 PM Friday and 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day, Monday May 25 Route 15N will operate on a weekend schedule with the last Transfer Center departure at 5:00 PM.
Route 15S
Beginning at 2:00 PM Friday May 22nd and continuing through Sunday, May 24th only South bound service will be provided. The revised service begins with a 2:00 PM departure from the Myrtle Beach Transfer Center and continues with departures at the top of each hour. North bound transportation will return to the Transfer Center via Kings Highway. Scheduled South bound stops will not be affected. The last departure will be at 9:00 PM Friday and 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day, Monday May 25 Route 15S will operate on a weekend schedule with the last Transfer Center departure at 5:00 PM.
Route 1
Memorial Day, Monday May 25 Route 1/Conway Local will operate on a weekend schedule with departures from the Conway Terminal at 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Route 7
Memorial Day, Monday May 25 Route 7/Conway-Myrtle Beach-Conway will operate on a weekend schedule with departures from the Conway Terminal at 7:00 AM and Noon and departures from the Myrtle Beach Transfer Center at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Route 10
Memorial Day, Monday May 25 Route 10/Myrtle Beach Local will operate on a weekend schedule with the last Transfer Center departure at 6:00 PM.
