Many locals spent the day relaxing on the Waccamaw River, listening to some fine music -- not a bad way to start you weekend.

It was the 13th annual Bluegrass on the Waccamaw Festival at Riverfront Park -- and the grounds of the Old Peanut Warehouse in downtown Conway.

Music lovers came out to enjoy some good ole' bluegrass tunes from local, regional and national bluegrass groups.

The Bluegrass on the Waccamaw wrapped up around 10 p.m. and was free to the public.
