For the first time in the nearly two weeks since the Horry Wildfire broke out, roads are expected to remain open.

Horry County reports due to the overnight rain, which assisted in the suppression of the smoke, the South Carolina Highway Patrol will NOT be closing any roads overnight or Wednesday morning.

Motorists are still asked to use caution when driving on Highway 31, 22 and 90.
