Police say they got a big break in the murder of a Dillon County woman that led them to arrest her neighbor.
Last Thursday, deputies found 61 year old Veronica Miranda dead inside her home on Annie Lane, outside of Latta.
Captain Cliff Arnette tells NewsChannel 15 they charged her neighbor -- Richard Sweat -- with Miranda's murder.
Captain Arnette won't say what led them to Sweat, but adds Sweat was a suspect early in the investigation.
Arnette says they still have yet to find Miranda's SUV -- that was taken from her home.
Sweat is being held in the Dillon County Detention Center.
