All roads in Horry County that closed because of thick smoke in the area have now opened.
Officials opened all areas of Highways 31, 22 and 90 at about 7:15 a.m. Monday.
Portions of the highways were closed Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
To help citizens of Horry County plan their daily commute, the South Carolina Highway Patrol will be closing the following roads overnight beginning at 8:30 p.m. Monday evening and reopening at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5:
· Highway 31, from Grissom Parkway to Highway 9.
· Highway 22, from Highway 90 to Highway 17.
· Highway 90, from Highway 22 to the Horry County Solid Waste Authority.
Highway Patrol will open the roads earlier if conditions allow.
