A man was killed in Myrtle Beach Friday night after being hit by a car. Horry County Coroner Robert Edge tells NewsChannel 15 that 52 year old Maruf Tohirod was killed on Greens Boulevard near 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
Edge says Tohirod was sitting outside when someone in a car nearby attempted to place the car in reverse, but accidentally put the car in drive and accelerated, hitting and killing Tohirod.
