Tuesday afternoon, police and volunteers combed parts of west Florence looking for clues into the disappearance of an 80 year old man.

The teams searched the Maple Park community for Bobby Cain.

Officers say he suffers from Dementia.

He lives near Maple Park and was reported missing last Wednesday evening.

Cain was last seen walking near the Krispy Kreme on West Palmetto Street.

"I saw him when he walked by my house and spoke to me the day he went missing," said Linda Sharpe, who joined in the search.

Florence's police chief, Anson Shells, said, "We need to be sure that we've done all we can in this area to make sure he's not here somewhere."

A reward is being offer for information leading to Cain.

The amount of the reward is not being released.

The number to call if you've seen Cain is (843) 667-TIPS.
