At approximately 3:15 Tuesday morning officers from the Hartsville Police Department were called to Carolina Pines Hospital.
When they got there officers learned a man, James Albert Tucker, 18 had died after being stabbed.
Officers say the crime happened in the 300 block area of Marion Avenue.
Officers arrested Breyon Akeen Toney, 17 of Hartsville. They say he's responsible for the stabbing.
