Parents of soldiers serving overseas are collecting items for Easter season care packages.
They were at the Carolina Forest Kroger store Friday, collecting items like shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
The care packages bring a few of the comforts of home to soldiers on the other side of the world.
It helps them out, and it makes the Blue Star Moms feel better.
"We do it because we love our kids, and because we love our country and because they are out there protecting our country," said Judy Cospa, Blue Star Mothers.
They'll be collecting items at Carolina Forest's Kroger again on Saturday and at the Krogers on Highway 17 in Garden City.
