The Hannah Pamplico High School football coach will return to work this week, three months after he was paralyzed in a hunting accident.

Coach Kirk Mays fell from a deer stand last December.

He spent several weeks in an Atlanta hospital for physical therapy and to be fitted for a wheelchair.

The superintendent of Pamplico schools says Coach Mays is expected to work on a part-time basis, as he rebuilds his strength.
