Dozens of families spent their Saturday having fun at the Family Arts Springfest at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach.
The event entertained children and their families with all sorts of activities, including face painting and balloon artists. The day was meant to celebrate art, kids, and to provide and overall good time.
Organizers say while it took months to plan.. they had a blast doing it.
"It's been really fun planning with everyone and we've really brought the community out - lots of children, families and activities. It's been a great day," said Hatton Gravely, Marketing Manager at The Market Common.
NewsChannel 15 was proud to be one of the sponsors for the free event. Also helping to make the day fun for everyone, The Children's Museum of South Carolina, Long Bay Symphony and the Horry County Arts Council.
