Thieves steal equipment from SC Commission for the Blind

Someone broke into the South Carolina Commission for the Blind office in Conway and stole nearly $5,000 in equipment.

The thieves broke into the office sometime between 6:00 pm on March 4th, and 8:00 am on March 5th.

They stole two laptops, talking clocks, remote controls and electronic magnifiers.

Conway police say the thieves broke through a window, causing $100 in damage.
