Tuesday, Billy Hardee was arraigned at the Horry County Courthouse.
He's charged with hitting and killing a pedestrian in Horry County in 2006.
The solicitor's office says Hardee refused a plea deal.
Highway Patrol says Hardee struck Roy Simmons, 25, on Sea Mountain Highway on October 16th, 2006.
Hardee's trial is expected to begin either in April or May.
