Dept. Of Commerce: Layoffs imminent at Mohawk in Marlboro County

NewsChannel 15 has learned Mohawk Industries plans to lay off 100 workers at its Marlboro County plant.

According to officials with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the company will cut the positions from the Oak River Mill site in Blenheim.

Officials didn't say when the layoffs will take place, but said they'll have workers at the plant on March 17th to to begin dislocated worker assistance services.
