School report cards are out from the South Carolina Education Department.

NewsChannel 15 broke down the numbers for you in the 15 districts in our area.

Looking first at the absolute ratings for the district, which is their overall score. We had no districts in either of the top two categories, excellent or good.

We have six districts that rated average, six below average, and three at risk.

Now looking at their growth ratings, which is simply the improvement over last year.

Four of our districts showed excellent improvement, two were good, and two were average.

Six of the districts in our area showed below average improvement over last year and one was at risk.
