The Darlington County Sheriff's Office has a new Junior Deputy, that's sure to "sniff" out all the bad guys.

The eight week old bloodhound is now officially employed with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

She doesn't have a name just yet, because Sheriff Wayne Byrd wants students to help pick out a name.

He says whoever comes up with the best name will get their picture taken with the K9 officer and will be named Junior Deputy for a day.
