Myrtle Beach City Council Tuesday passed a resolution approving Horry County's layout plan for the new airport terminal.
City officials said the city wasn't required to do that, but the county asked for the resolution in order to present a unified voice as the county asks for federal funds for the airport.
A couple of council members were concerned about plans to extend Harrelson Boulevard, but county officials gave assurances that project would happen and the resolution passed.
