A Murrells Inlet restaurant owner is charged with five counts of property tax evasion.

Lloyd Milliken, of Shallotte, North Carolina owns Nance's Creekfront Restaurant in Murrells Inlet.

He's also the owner of a Little River casino boat, Southern Cruise Lines.

The State Department of Revenue says Milliken failed to pay state taxes on his restaurant income from 1999 to 2003, and owes the state more than $54,000.

Milliken faces up to 25 years in prison, if convicted.

His accountant is also charged with five counts of preparing a false tax return.
