The second trial for two men charged with murder in Horry County will be delayed for a few more weeks.
In early November, a jury deliberated for nine and a half hours on the fate of Jimmy Lee Sessions and Christopher Stephens.
That jury remained deadlocked and could not reach a decision, and the judge declared a mistrial.
Sessions and Stephens are both charged in connection to the 2006 murders of Jamila Hytower and Monica Wall.
The re-trial was scheduled to start, but prosecutors asked for more time to get another blood sample from Sessions.
Solicitor Greg Hembree says he hopes the trial can be scheduled for early next year.
