Conway voters will go to the polls Tuesday to elect a new mayor.
City council members Vivian Chestnut and Alys Lawson, as well as Leslie McIver and Russ Calhoun, are running to replace former mayor Greg Martin.
Martin died unexpectedly in September.
Special elections often don't attract as many voters as general elections, but the county's election director says this one might be different.
"I think they'll have a pretty good turnout. They've got four candidates on the ballot, and there's been a lot of publicity about the election, so hopefully they'll have a good turnout tomorrow," said Horry County's Election Director, Sandy Martin.
If no candidate gets at least half of all votes cast, Martin says there will have to be a runoff in two weeks.
Polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
