The Conway Police Department got to celebrate the holiday a little early this year, thanks to some goodwill from a local church.
Kids from The First Baptist Church, of Conway, made up 72 gift bags, enough for all the police department employees.
Church leaders handed them out Wednesday.
The bags include things officers can use on the job every day, like disinfectant hand cleaner and snacks.
The police chief says, it's a thoughtful gift.
"I think it's great, this time of year. You always want to think about what you can do for the other person, the giving is better than the receiving. I think this is an excellent thing the church has done and it's going to be a good boost for our personnel," said Chief Reggie Gosnell.
The kids bought all the supplies for the bags themselves, and put a handmade Christmas card in each one.
