Next week, a judge will hold a hearing on a lawsuit against the city of Myrtle Beach for trying to eliminate the May bike rallies.

Rally organizer Mike Shank filed the suit, which asks the court to stop the city from enforcing some of the anti-rally ordinances it passed last month.

The suit is targeting the helmet law, noise standards and limitations on promoting bike rallies.

The hearing will be in Federal court in Florence Tuesday, October 28th.
