Horry County Council Member Al Allen is seeking another term on council, but this time as Council Chairman.
He's running for the seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Tom Rice.
Recently Allen taped an interview that appeared on Carolina This Week to talk about his candidacy and where he stands on issues like jobs and Interstate 73.
