Car crashes into building, shots fired

Conway police are investigating a deadly crash at Durant Street and Hemingway Street.

A Dodge pickup crashed into the side of a house about 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says Dwayne Gaghum, 53, of Conway died at the scene. Police say he died of what appears to be a single gunshot wound to the head.

The solicitor's says it appears to be a homicide. Willard also added that it appears to be a homicide and will be investigated.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Conway police at (843) 248-1790.
