Murrells Inlet Garden City firefighters were called to Sea Breeze Drive in Garden City about 11:08 a.m. Wednesday.
Fire destroyed the house they believe was separated into apartments.
Firefighters don't yet know the cause of the fire, but say it started in the back of the house and worked it's way forward, according to Assistant Chief J.R. Haney.
They say all of the occupants got out without injuries.
The American Red Cross was called to help the families.
