BBU Inc., the parent company of Bimbo Bakeries, is calling for a voluntary recall because flexible wire could be in bread.

The company says it could have come from a faulty screen at a third party flour mill.

The recall does not affect bread on store shelves right now or any products currently offered for sale in retail stores.

But the company wants you to check bread you have in your home, just in case.

The company, out of an abundance of caution, wants to alert consumers to check any affected products they may still have in their homes.

The following are recalls for South Carolina. They will have Best By dates prior to and including Feb. 20:

Aldi L'oven Fresh Hearty 12 Grain
Arnold Dutch Country 100% Whole Grain
Earthgrains 12 Grain Natural Bread
Sara Lee 12 Grain Bread Hearty & Delicious

No other brands or products are affected.

You can find a full list of recalled breads here.
