Many on the Grand Strand and in the Pee Dee are waking up to a winter wonderland Sunday morning.

Temperatures are above freezing and with a full day of sunshine, roads will dry and much of the snow will melt, according to First Alert Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski.

Any remaining melted snow will refreeze tonight as temperatures drop into the 20s quickly after sunset. The last of the snow completely melts Monday with temperatures recovering into the 50s.

Many roads could be icy or slick so use caution.
