DILLON COUNTY -- A Dillon County man is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the theft of his classic car.

His 1967 two-door Chevrolet Chevelle was stolen Thursday night or Friday morning.

It was snatched from a garage near Highway 38 and McDowell Court between the Oak Grove and Latta communities.

Deputies say the owner of the car invested a lot of money in restoring it and it means the world to him.

If you have any information on this theft, you're asked to call the Dillon County Sheriff's Office at (843) 774-1432 or Central Dispatch at (843) 841-3707.
