Police say five people walked into the Belk department store on David McLeod Blvd in Florence around 7:45 p.m. on October 11, and grabbed loads of clothes from the Polo Ralph Lauren section.

According to Florence Police Major Carlos Raines, four women and one man walked into the department store, went straight to the Polo clothing section and grabbed arm loads of clothes, then ran out of the store and got into a car.

Raines says a gray Honda Accord was waiting for them in front of the mall and they took off.

The tags were removed from the car.

Belk is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of those involved.

If you have information, you are asked to call Florence Police at 843-665-3191 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
