UPDATED WITH CAUSE

Fire burned two condos at Litchfield by the Sea in Georgetown County on Heron Marsh Drive.

The fire started just after 3 a.m. Tuesday in units 62 and 63, according to Bob Beebe with Midway Fire Rescue.

Georgetown City and County Fire Department, Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire, Surfside Beach Fire Department and Horry County Fire Rescue also responded.

Lightning caused the fire, Beebe said Wednesday.
