Hundreds of seniors looking for work were at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center Monday.

More than 40 business and non-profit organizations took part in the Grand Strand Senior Job and Volunteer Assistance Fair.

They were looking for employees or volunteers for the spring and summer.

Many who came out to the fair said they were looking to earn a few extra dollars to help out with the bills.

The fair was sponsored by the City of Myrtle Beach Senior Citizens Advisory Committee.

This is the 10th year for the event.

Last year more than 500 people attended the job fair.
